Be Well: Healthy Community

This print is an appropriation of the Be Well signs and posters all over Mount Holyoke College campus, specifically one titled Healthy Community. During the health crisis of COVID-19, this print is a critique of Mount Holyoke College’s handling of the pandemic and depiction of itself as a place with students’ well-being as a main priority.

Untitled States 1-3
Etchings on paper, 9in x 11in each, 2022
For this 3-state series, I etched a T-rex head in 3 different ways. Untitled State 1 represents the bare bones of a T-rex skull. Untitled State 2 depicts T-rex as described in the 90s and early 2000s. Lastly, Untitled State 3 shows a more modern interpretation of a T-rex covered in tiny hair-like feathers.
